Wedding Things

Sorry I haven’t been posting lately–I’ve been hard at work on my sister-in-laws wedding invitations, favor cards, thank you notes and next week, I’ll be working on her programs.ย  Let me know what you think!ย  I also got some new goodies that I’ll be posting soon! ๐Ÿ™‚

The pink tri-folds are the invitations, the pink/DSP/blue are the thank you cards, and the pink/brown are the favor cards.ย ย  I’ll try to get some more cards up soon!ย  I have some new DSP that I’m DYING to use, but I want to get these done first! ๐Ÿ™‚

Spring Chick

So even though it feels like 100 degrees outside–it’s still Spring for a couple of more weeks anyway!ย  I got this stamp in the Dollar bin at Michaels of all places and thought it was cute.ย  I can see it being used on a new baby card in the spring time too.

Recipe: stamp (Spring Chick) Michaels-studio, ink (Staz-on black), yo-yo yellow stampin’ up writer, american crafts mint ribbon, DSP from Nana’s Kids stack and unknown (yellow floral) salmon color is from my stash! ๐Ÿ™‚

2,000 hits Blog Candy!

2,000 hits are almost here–leave me a comment about your favorite stamping technique, your fav. recpie, or your favorite stamping/scrapping tool and you will be entered to win!ย  The winner of the 1.000 hit blog candy did not respond when she won–so if you search back a few posts you can see the blog candy up for grabs!ย  I’ll draw a name as soon as the counter hits 2,000.

Remember leave me a comment on this post and number your comment.ย  Be sure to subscribe to my website so you’ll know when I draw the winner.ย  Scroll down to the small orange box on the right side–in one of the green menu boxes and click on it–it will walk you through the process.

A Second Mug by any other name…

I gave my real sister the white mug I made a few weeks ago, and when I did–I gave it to her in front of my sister in-law and so I felt bad and made her a mug too.ย  The mugs are awesome–they are from Dollar Tree–love that store!! I bought about 10 mugs that day and all in different colors, so as I get them done, I’ll be sure to post them!

Target Dollar Spot

Who’s with me?? Isn’t the Dollar Spot at Target just the best????? I could drop MEGA amounts of cash there! I came across 20 packs of cute thick chipboard square and round coasters and knew right away I could make something out of them–presto– a quick search on Splitcoast–and wallah! A tutorial on making Coaster Boxes. Here is mine! Make one of your own, but if you live in Avon, Indiana-please leave the coasters in the Target Dollar Spot for me!! ๐Ÿ™‚ They are already decorated, so I just punched five holes down each side with my Crop-a-dile and laced them up like a pair of shoes, tied them off and done! Use heavy glue like Aleene’s to hold the bottom on–no holes punched there. You can link to the Splitcoast site and tutorial here:
