Happy Valentine’s Day!

I woke up today to discover Valentine’s from my son:

and my hubby who was trying so hard to be crafty–I LOVE this card! ๐Ÿ™‚ย  I think he used Real Red, Pixie Pink, the new Heart to Heart Punch and several retired Valentine’s Day sets and some American Crafts Ribbon for his card–he came out of my crafting room complaining that I needed more variety in my Valentine’s Day stamp sets! ๐Ÿ™‚ LOL!

So, I thought that I’d better get on with making him a card:

Sorry the pictures are so dark–we hung up a blanket on the window to help keep out the cold air and it made the room very dark, not much I can do about that until Spring! ๐Ÿ™‚ I added glitter to the wheels, head and tail lights, front window and around the edge of the hearts for some sparkle and to tie in with the silver cording.ย  Inside I wrote 1st Corinthians 13–we had it read at our wedding and I just love that verse! ๐Ÿ™‚

Supplies: (all SU!)

Hope you enjoy your Valentine’s Day!ย  I got to get my hair cut! ๐Ÿ™‚ย  We just finished making my hubby a big plate of frosted brownies–of course we had to try some! ๐Ÿ™‚

Hugs and Kisses Card

This is another card I’ve been playing with for a couple of days.ย  I’m still not sure if I’m going to keep it this way or go back and change it:

Circle Pocket Card

I love visiting Angie’s Site Chic n’ Scratch.ย  That’s where I got the idea for this Circle Pocket Card:ย  It’s a little pocket for holding 3 x3 sized cards (see the ones I made below).

Beate’s Weekend Sketch Challenge #40

Here it is…I had to try out my new set of stamps I got when I was hostess a few months ago at my Stampin’ Up! group.ย  This set is called “So Many Scallops” and honestly, just by looking at the stamps, I never thought that they would fit inside the scallop punch and look great when they were punched out.ย  But it works!ย  Great!ย  All you have to do is line up the punch with the indentations on the stamp and punch!

I made a card that made me think of warmer places!ย  I can’t wait for Spring to ACTUALLY get here-no matter what the calendar says, Spring is not here yet! ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

Oh, how I just love rub-ons!ย  This little red flower is one of my faves.ย  I put a few rhinestones in the middle of the flowers to add that Valentine’s day sparkle
