Together Forever

My sister is getting married today, so before we are off to the wedding, I needed to make her a card.  I was surfing on Beate’s site and found WCS #57 and thought the layout was a perfect fit for the Fast and Fun Notes set from SU!

Here is the card:

Wedding Things

Sorry I haven’t been posting lately–I’ve been hard at work on my sister-in-laws wedding invitations, favor cards, thank you notes and next week, I’ll be working on her programs.  Let me know what you think!  I also got some new goodies that I’ll be posting soon! 🙂

The pink tri-folds are the invitations, the pink/DSP/blue are the thank you cards, and the pink/brown are the favor cards.   I’ll try to get some more cards up soon!  I have some new DSP that I’m DYING to use, but I want to get these done first! 🙂

Beate’s Weekend Sketch Challenge #40

Here it is…I had to try out my new set of stamps I got when I was hostess a few months ago at my Stampin’ Up! group.  This set is called “So Many Scallops” and honestly, just by looking at the stamps, I never thought that they would fit inside the scallop punch and look great when they were punched out.  But it works!  Great!  All you have to do is line up the punch with the indentations on the stamp and punch!

I made a card that made me think of warmer places!  I can’t wait for Spring to ACTUALLY get here-no matter what the calendar says, Spring is not here yet! 😦

The “S’s”

I think this set might be my favorite set of these initial cards I made.  There are some pretty cool things I did with the “K” cards and “E” cards too, so check them out!

The “K9”

Not your average K9!  One of the 10 didn’t photograph well, so there are just 9 of them pictured.

Not Your Typical Lemons! “E”

Folded Wedding Invitation Mock-up

These are the mock-ups of some wedding invitations I am making for my sister-in law’s wedding in October.  There is a part at the bottom that is perforated so guests can indicate whether or not they are coming, tear that part off and send it back.  The front will have a wedding image (flower, cake, rings, something) and the bottom edge is scalloped.  The best part is that on the back of the invitation, there is room for a stamp and an address, so no envelope is needed to mail it.  Click on the images for a larger view.  I labeled them so you could see what they look like. dsc08831.jpgdsc08832.jpgdsc08833.jpgdsc08835.jpgdsc08836.jpgdsc08834.jpg
